Have you ever used a paint sprayer for furniture painting? If not you are missing out!!!
I <3 my HomeRight Finish Max Sprayer. Let me tell you why…. If you have a big project or several pieces to paint at once it can really speed up your project quite ALOT! You will be amazed at how fast the paint flies onto to your piece, it’s pretty amazing, and have you ever painted six dining room chairs by hand???? All of those spindles and legs? Using a sprayer for chairs is a must!!! Also, the sprayer lays on the paint without any brush strokes, your finish will feel smooth and look professional.
Some people may be intimidated by using a paint sprayer but like anything, once you practice a bit you will be a pro!!!
I’m here to help, this is the first of several blog posts to show you just how easy it is to use the HomeRight Finish Max Paint Sprayer.
The very first step to using the sprayer is that you ned to thin the paint to the manufacturer’s recommended viscosity for the type of paint you are using. All paints are different in thickness and volume. For example, a chalky type of paint may be a very different thickness than latex paint, because of this you need to add water to your paint until it reaches a specific viscosity or thickness.
You can use latex, chalk, Acrylic, topcoats, stains and even primers. I love that you can use the sprayer to apply your primer coat. Perfect for kitchen cabinet doors!!! Such a huge time saver.
Here are the recommendations from HomeRight for thinning paint for the HomeRight Finish Max Fine Finish Sprayer.
I added Paint Couture, Couture Top Coat & Chalky Type paints as well.
